The specification of our plywood requirements.
Option I.
3 ply 5mm
face 1.5mm ( prefer mixed harwood species )
center core 2.0mm ( prefer mixed hardwood species)
back 1.5mm ( prefer mixed hardwood species )
We will laminate a 2.5mm face and 2.5 mm back veneer which we currently import from Great Lakes.After laminating our face and back veneer over your 3 ply plywood core, we now have a 5 ply engineered wood flooring.

dimension - 4 ft x 8 ft
Option 2
3 ply 5mm
face 1.5mm ( prefer mixed hardwood species )
center core 2.0 mm ( poplar )
back 1.5 mm ( prefer mixed hardwood species )
Same procedure as in Option 1

4 ply 8mm
1st ply 2mm poplar
2nd ply 2mm hardwood
3rd ply 2mm poplar
4th ply 2mm hardwood
The 5th ply is our own top veneer which is 2.0 mm thick which will be balanced by the 4th ply which is the bottom veneer. After lamianting the top veneer over your 4 ply plywood, we can now have a 5 ply engineered wood flooring.

6 ply 10mm
1st ply 1.5 mm poplar
2nd ply 1.5 mm hardwood
3rd ply 1.5 mm poplar
4th ply 1.5 mm hardwood
5th ply 1.5 mm poplar
6th fly 2.5mm hardwood
The 7th ply is our top veneer which is 2.5mm thi ck. This is same as the thickness of the 6th ply which is 2.5mm. The engineered then becomes balanced.
